I am going to a hen party soon. The main function thing is at night, and I’ve got my outfit sorted for that, but it’s more the afternoon I’m concerned about.
I think we’re going round a few bars, and we’ve been told to dress in black – i.e. top & bottoms. I’ve got plenty of black tops etc, but a lot of them are a bit fancy for wearing in the afternoon, so I’m looking for something smart but casual, that won’t look silly in the pub (i.e. too casual, or too overdressed).
Any suggestions? At the moment I’m pondering maybe black leggings, and maybe a long black vest/tunic style top?
I am a size 14/16 as well, so I don’t want to wear anything too short/tarty.

My sister is getting married in Thailand and id like to organise a great hen party for her out there, but really have no ideas where to start.
Ive never been to Thailand so i don’t know what to expect. I really want it to be something memorable for her as well as all the other ‘hens’!!
Help…. times running out although i have got till mid November to get things together!

can you help me? my sisters having a hen party and we are doing
a pass the parcel game, but i dont know what to put in it,
im looking for tacky little things to put in it, so far i have:
chicken fillets
big granny knickers
lip glosses
willy choclates +lollies
fishnets
primark jewellery
but i need more, as there is 20+ people attending!!!
any ideass?????

If you were having a small hen party of four, with your husband-to-be’s family, what would you do?
Because my h2b family live in Woking, Surrey, and we live in Wales, they won’t be able to celebrate my main Hen Party. So his 17yr old niece (who will be my bridesmaid) wants to arrange one for me in their area, but there will only be his niece, mum and sister there. Their not big drinkers, and also the fact that his niece is 17yrs old means we can’t go out on the town.
What would you suggest doing? They don’t have much money, so we can’t go to a spa or sumin. Or can you suggest some silly games if we were to stay indoors?!

My hen party is in May next year which i know is a long way off but i really am stuck for ideas for fancy dress. All my friends want to go out in ann summers stuff and im a …..well larger lady, im a size 16-18 for the people that can understand that. Any ideas? Please help!

Hi me and my friends are organising a Hen Party for a friend we have the hen sorted, but then one night we ara all going to get dressed up!! NOT FULL BLOWN FANCEY DRESS like film stars etc!!

I am having a hen party for my sister and we are doing a hen olympics – egg & spoon race, three legged race, assort course etc. we want to hand out prizes in the evening but I’m not sure what to award people with. Its my hen party in liverpool this year and my Aunt is coming along who is 50. The theme is super heroines/Villains for every1 to dress up, shes asked me for some ideas that would be suitable for her, so she wont look mutton dressed as lamb! Any ideas of who she could be and what she could wear? So far i’ve thought of Elektra – red top and pants, pink power ranger – pink top and pants and yellow power ranger – yellow top and pants.

OK! We are having a hen party at the Brides House (I am chief bridesmaid). However, she is pregnant, so can’t drink.
15 hens will be in attendance. We have manicures, pedicures & back/shoulder massages. Tarot readings. Buffet and drinks!!
However, do you have any extra ideas that will make the party go with a bang! Bear in mind – we won’t be venturing out, as the bride is 5 months preggers and can’t do all that… and there will be no men! Also NO STRIPPER!!
Any ingenious suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks to one and all….
The bride to be has expressed a preference NOT to go out… I know she’s not disabled!! It’s HER idea!!!
BeddyBeddy my dear…. she is a grown woman (over 30) who is getting married. They are over the moon about the baby and there is nothing to stay at home and contemplate!! Strange reply!

I’m planning to have my hen party on the 1st August and still have no plan of things to do! Just planning to go out in London. If you can suggest any places or companies to contact who can organise something for a group of 12 people it will help me a lot! MOH is totally useless and can’t organise a thing! Bless her…..

Im organising my sisters hen party and have everything else booked except i wanted to do something fun for about 2 hours in the day. I have a room Booked in our hotel and wanted something like a dance lesson or maybe someone to come read tarots cards for us, something like this, however im finding it hard to find a tarot card reader in Athlone. Does anyone have any ideas that would be fun for about 30 sober women as we wont be drinking till later??
